Description
We are seeking a full-time Pediatric Pain trained physician to join our multidisciplinary Pain Management Center team in the ranks of Assistant or Associate Professor. This position offers a well-rounded clinical practice that includes caring for pediatric patients with chronic pain in inpatient and outpatient settings and performing interventional pain procedures. Cincinnati Children’s has one of the busiest pediatric chronic pain centers in the country and an accredited pediatric pain medicine fellowship program.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care for children and adolescents with acute, chronic, and complex pain conditions. This position is open to both Pediatric Anesthesiologists and Pediatric Non-Anesthesiologists. Candidates must have completed a pediatric pain medicine fellowship and be board-certified in Pain Medicine. The ideal applicant will demonstrate not only strong clinical expertise, effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, commitment to high-quality, family-centered pediatric care, but also, skills and experience in a wide range of interventions utilized in pediatric chronic pain.
This position provides an opportunity to work within a collaborative academic environment focused on clinical excellence, education, research, and innovation in pediatric pain management.

Requirements
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.
- Active, unrestricted medical license
- Board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology or related pediatric disciplines (Pediatrics, Child Neurology, Child Psychiatry, Child Physical Medicine, and Rehabilitation)
- Fellowship trained in Pediatric Pain Medicine and board-certified in Pain Medicine through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
- Eligible for academic appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
- Strong record of teaching and mentorship.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
